Panjin Crab-Field Rice is sourced from Panjin, Liaoning Province, China. This batch is supplied directly by a local grain station, ensuring reliable quality and a stable, traceable supply chain.

Located at the estuary of the Liao River, Panjin is known for its rich wetlands and unique saline-alkali soil. This rice is cultivated using an eco-friendly “rice–crab co-culture” system, where freshwater crabs are raised alongside the rice. The natural movement of the crabs helps aerate the soil, reduce weeds and pests, and minimise the need for chemical inputs, supporting a more sustainable growing process.

Thanks to its clean water sources and natural environment, the rice grains are plump and glossy, with a soft, slightly sticky texture and a naturally sweet flavour. It offers a pleasant aroma, good elasticity, and a subtle lingering finish, making it ideal for everyday meals as well as premium dining.
